Update on the temporary suspension of subscriptions to the underlying fund of L51 Value Partners Greater China High Yield Income

26 August 2016

Further to our previous update on 29 April 2016 we have received additional information from Value Partners Hong Kong Limited, in relation to the temporary suspension of the underlying fund into which L51 Value Partners Greater China High Yield Income invests.

As previously advised the reason for the temporary suspension to further subscriptions was due to the underlying fund finding that it had issued more share capital than the authorised amount.

The underlying fund’s Directors have since been empowered during an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on the 15 August 2016, to increase the issued share capital.

The Directors will follow certain procedures to increase the share capital, during which time the temporary closure to further subscriptions on the underlying fund shall remain in place, until they advise that this has been lifted. The temporary closure to further subscriptions on the L51 Value Partners Greater China High Yield Income will also remain in place until such a time.

Please note there are no other changes to the underlying fund or L51 Value Partners Greater China High Yield Income.
